Advanced Working at Height
5 days|Delivered on request
This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into legal appointments and duties, environmental impact assessment and the judgement calls that sit outside the Construction Regulations. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety culture, risk assessment and working at height in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of safety culture rather than escalating it, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Make a decision about risk assessment without waiting for a specialist
- Review working at height and say plainly whether it is working
- Improve contractor safety management within their own organisation
