Artificial Intelligence in Municipal Finance
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through performance management in government and records management as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because audit outcomes have become the dominant measure of municipal performance. Delegates leave able to work confidently with consequence management, intergovernmental relations and grant management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where consequence management is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the MFMA
- Take ownership of intergovernmental relations rather than escalating it
- Review grant management and say plainly whether it is working
- Put public finance management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
