Audit Readiness: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through financial instruments and deferred tax on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with management accounting, financial modelling and cost allocation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve management accounting within their own organisation, measured against GRAP for public entities
- Put financial modelling on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Bring cost allocation into line with current good practice
- Explain lease accounting to someone who does not do the work
