Board Procedure: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through regulatory compliance and cross-border contracting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: commercial teams routinely sign obligations that legal only sees after a dispute, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with arbitration and mediation, board procedure and service level agreements in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain arbitration and mediation to someone who does not do the work, measured against POPIA
- Review board procedure and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring service level agreements into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about legal risk assessment without waiting for a specialist
