Combined Assurance: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through risk identification and crisis management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: compliance obligations have multiplied faster than compliance capacity, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with key risk indicators, scenario analysis and fraud risk management in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Bring key risk indicators into line with current good practice, measured against COSO ERM
  • Explain scenario analysis to someone who does not do the work
  • Spot where fraud risk management is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Take ownership of risk appetite and tolerance rather than escalating it
