Confined Space Safety: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through risk assessment and legal appointments and duties on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety management systems, safety culture and working at height in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve safety management systems within their own organisation, measured against ISO 14001
- Review safety culture and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain working at height to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where confined space entry is failing before it becomes a finding
