Crisis Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through internal audit interface and combined assurance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk identification, compliance monitoring and risk assessment methodology in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain risk identification to someone who does not do the work, measured against the three lines model
- Review compliance monitoring and say plainly whether it is working
- Take ownership of risk assessment methodology rather than escalating it
- Bring control testing into line with current good practice
