Digital Transformation in Integrated Development Planning

Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online

This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through consequence management and grant management as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because officials are held personally accountable under legislation many have never been trained on. Delegates leave able to work confidently with intergovernmental relations, public finance management and audit action planning in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain intergovernmental relations to someone who does not do the work, measured against the Municipal Systems Act
  • Make a decision about public finance management without waiting for a specialist
  • Improve audit action planning within their own organisation
  • Take ownership of council procedure rather than escalating it
