Digital Transformation in Public Participation
Public Sector and Municipal Management|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through integrated development planning and supply chain compliance in government as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because service delivery failures usually trace back to planning rather than to budget. Delegates leave able to work confidently with public participation, grant management and municipal budgeting in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve public participation within their own organisation, measured against the PFMA
- Put grant management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Make a decision about municipal budgeting without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of public finance management rather than escalating it
