Digital Transformation in Risk Register Design
Risk and Compliance|3 days|Classroom or live online
This programme examines how the practice is shifting, and what delegates should adopt, adapt or ignore. It works through business continuity planning and internal audit interface as they stand today and where they are heading. The shift is worth understanding because risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision. Delegates leave able to work confidently with third party risk, risk identification and risk reporting to the board in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Put third party risk on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against the Basel framework
- Explain risk identification to someone who does not do the work
- Make a decision about risk reporting to the board without waiting for a specialist
- Take ownership of risk appetite and tolerance rather than escalating it
