Dispute Resolution: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through cross-border contracting and dispute resolution on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: contract value leaks quietly through weak administration rather than through litigation, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with legal risk assessment, liability and indemnity and competition law in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review legal risk assessment and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Companies Act
- Spot where liability and indemnity is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring competition law into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about data protection under POPIA without waiting for a specialist
