Good Laboratory Practice: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through technical record keeping and internal auditing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with measurement uncertainty, document control and root cause analysis in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain measurement uncertainty to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 9001
- Improve document control within their own organisation
- Put root cause analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of reagent management rather than escalating it
