Proficiency Testing: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through measurement uncertainty and root cause analysis on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with corrective and preventive action, technical record keeping and reagent management in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve corrective and preventive action within their own organisation, measured against ISO 9001
- Explain technical record keeping to someone who does not do the work
- Put reagent management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of proficiency testing rather than escalating it
