Grant and Donor Reporting: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through audit readiness and management accounting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with financial statement preparation, financial modelling and consolidation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review financial statement preparation and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the Companies Act
  • Take ownership of financial modelling rather than escalating it
  • Put consolidation on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Explain capital budgeting to someone who does not do the work
