Laboratory Safety: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through laboratory safety and laboratory design on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: quality managers are often appointed from the bench without management training, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with proficiency testing, accreditation preparation and equipment calibration in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Improve proficiency testing within their own organisation, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
- Explain accreditation preparation to someone who does not do the work
- Bring equipment calibration into line with current good practice
- Spot where non-conformance management is failing before it becomes a finding
