Practical Measurement Uncertainty
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through technical record keeping and proficiency testing on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with internal auditing, non-conformance management and accreditation preparation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring internal auditing into line with current good practice, measured against SANAS accreditation requirements
- Improve non-conformance management within their own organisation
- Take ownership of accreditation preparation rather than escalating it
- Explain quality management systems to someone who does not do the work
