Legal Liability for Safety: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through personal protective equipment and legal appointments and duties on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with environmental impact assessment, working at height and toolbox talks in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of environmental impact assessment rather than escalating it, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Explain working at height to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where toolbox talks is failing before it becomes a finding
- Bring safety management systems into line with current good practice
