Occupational Hygiene: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through waste management and legal appointments and duties on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with personal protective equipment, safety culture and toolbox talks in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve personal protective equipment within their own organisation, measured against ISO 14001
  • Take ownership of safety culture rather than escalating it
  • Make a decision about toolbox talks without waiting for a specialist
  • Explain safety auditing to someone who does not do the work
