Managing Ergonomics in the Workplace

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers risk assessment and permit to work systems from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with emergency preparedness, working at height and root cause analysis in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review emergency preparedness and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 14001
  • Put working at height on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Improve root cause analysis within their own organisation
  • Spot where incident investigation is failing before it becomes a finding
