Measurement Uncertainty: Tools and Techniques

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through reagent management and corrective and preventive action on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: method validation is frequently treated as paperwork rather than as evidence, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with laboratory safety, quality management systems and laboratory design in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put laboratory safety on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against good laboratory practice
  • Explain quality management systems to someone who does not do the work
  • Improve laboratory design within their own organisation
  • Bring root cause analysis into line with current good practice
