Permit to Work Systems Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether toolbox talks and root cause analysis are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause. Delegates leave able to work confidently with personal protective equipment, hazard identification and occupational hygiene in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain personal protective equipment to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 45001
  • Review hazard identification and say plainly whether it is working
  • Spot where occupational hygiene is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Bring safety culture into line with current good practice
