Practical Audit Readiness
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through fraud detection and internal controls on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: audit findings are now a reputational matter as much as a technical one, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with impairment testing, capital budgeting and financial modelling in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review impairment testing and say plainly whether it is working, measured against IFRS
- Explain capital budgeting to someone who does not do the work
- Put financial modelling on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of management accounting rather than escalating it
