Practical Combined Assurance
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through internal audit interface and risk appetite and tolerance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: boards are being asked to evidence oversight, not merely assert it, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk assessment methodology, combined assurance and compliance monitoring in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where risk assessment methodology is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against COSO ERM
- Improve combined assurance within their own organisation
- Bring compliance monitoring into line with current good practice
- Review third party risk and say plainly whether it is working
