Practical Competition Law
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through service level agreements and board procedure on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: commercial teams routinely sign obligations that legal only sees after a dispute, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with company secretarial practice, cross-border contracting and employment law in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Explain company secretarial practice to someone who does not do the work, measured against King IV
- Improve cross-border contracting within their own organisation
- Take ownership of employment law rather than escalating it
- Put corporate governance on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
