Practical Contractor Safety Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through confined space entry and emergency preparedness on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with hazard identification, safety management systems and risk assessment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where hazard identification is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 14001
- Improve safety management systems within their own organisation
- Take ownership of risk assessment rather than escalating it
- Make a decision about occupational hygiene without waiting for a specialist
