Practical Cross Border Contracting
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through board procedure and cross-border contracting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: regulators have moved from guidance to enforcement across several sectors, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with data protection under POPIA, contract drafting and competition law in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where data protection under POPIA is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against established contract law principles
- Review contract drafting and say plainly whether it is working
- Put competition law on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of dispute resolution rather than escalating it
