Practical First Aid Programme Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through permit to work systems and contractor safety management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with confined space entry, emergency preparedness and personal protective equipment in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of confined space entry rather than escalating it, measured against ISO 14001
- Review emergency preparedness and say plainly whether it is working
- Bring personal protective equipment into line with current good practice
- Make a decision about safety culture without waiting for a specialist
