Practical Insurance and Risk Transfer

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through third party risk and combined assurance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: risk registers are widely maintained and rarely used in an actual decision, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with crisis management, internal audit interface and key risk indicators in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve crisis management within their own organisation, measured against the three lines model
  • Put internal audit interface on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Review key risk indicators and say plainly whether it is working
  • Take ownership of risk assessment methodology rather than escalating it
