Practical Intellectual Property
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through board procedure and cross-border contracting on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: contract value leaks quietly through weak administration rather than through litigation, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with competition law, corporate governance and company secretarial practice in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Make a decision about competition law without waiting for a specialist, measured against King IV
- Put corporate governance on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Take ownership of company secretarial practice rather than escalating it
- Explain employment law to someone who does not do the work
