Practical Inventory Management
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through inventory optimisation and total cost of ownership on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethical sourcing, supply risk assessment and contract negotiation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring ethical sourcing into line with current good practice, measured against the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act
- Make a decision about supply risk assessment without waiting for a specialist
- Review contract negotiation and say plainly whether it is working
- Explain supplier relationship management to someone who does not do the work
