Practical Procurement Fraud Prevention

3 days|Delivered on request

This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through contract negotiation and category management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with tender evaluation, e-procurement systems and supplier development in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Make a decision about tender evaluation without waiting for a specialist, measured against the CIPS professional standard
  • Spot where e-procurement systems is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review supplier development and say plainly whether it is working
  • Bring demand planning into line with current good practice
