Practical Python for Analysts
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through self service analytics and data quality management on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: analysts are frequently self taught in the tool and untrained in the reasoning, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with data warehouse concepts, visual encoding choices and data governance in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Bring data warehouse concepts into line with current good practice, measured against recognised data governance frameworks
- Explain visual encoding choices to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where data governance is failing before it becomes a finding
- Make a decision about dashboard design without waiting for a specialist
