Practical Renewable Energy Integration
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through load flow analysis and switchgear maintenance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with power factor correction, electrical safety procedure and condition monitoring in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Review power factor correction and say plainly whether it is working, measured against the SANS wiring code
- Take ownership of electrical safety procedure rather than escalating it
- Improve condition monitoring within their own organisation
- Make a decision about protection relays without waiting for a specialist
