Safety Auditing for Managers

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers root cause analysis and working at height from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with incident investigation, emergency preparedness and personal protective equipment in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Explain incident investigation to someone who does not do the work, measured against ISO 14001
  • Take ownership of emergency preparedness rather than escalating it
  • Improve personal protective equipment within their own organisation
  • Review safety culture and say plainly whether it is working
