Sample Management Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether internal auditing and measurement uncertainty are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because an accreditation finding can stop a laboratory trading in a way no other quality failure does. Delegates leave able to work confidently with non-conformance management, reagent management and laboratory safety in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Improve non-conformance management within their own organisation, measured against ISO 17025
  • Take ownership of reagent management rather than escalating it
  • Spot where laboratory safety is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Explain equipment calibration to someone who does not do the work
