Strategic Earned Value Management looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on risk registers, lessons learned and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because the coordination layer is usually the least trained and the most load bearing. Delegates leave able to work confidently with cost estimation, scheduling and change control in their own organisation.
