Strategic Industrial Relations looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on grievance handling, skills development planning and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because organisations are being asked to prove the return on their people spend. Delegates leave able to work confidently with CCMA preparation, remuneration and benefits and organisational design in their own organisation.
