Transformer Maintenance

3 days|Delivered on request

This Transformer Maintenance programme gives delegates a working command of insulation testing and power factor correction, grounded in the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Organisations invest here because maintenance teams are increasingly expected to diagnose equipment they did not commission. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical fault analysis, load flow analysis and arc flash assessment in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Make a decision about electrical fault analysis without waiting for a specialist, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Put load flow analysis on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Explain arc flash assessment to someone who does not do the work
  • Take ownership of earthing and bonding rather than escalating it
