Electrical Installation Standards Masterclass

5 days|Delivered on request

This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into earthing and bonding, load flow analysis and the judgement calls that sit outside IEC standards. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with protection relays, electrical fault analysis and power factor correction in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where protection relays is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against IEC standards
  • Take ownership of electrical fault analysis rather than escalating it
  • Review power factor correction and say plainly whether it is working
  • Put motor control centres on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
