Transformer Maintenance Auditing and Assurance

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is written from the assurance side. Delegates learn to test whether electrical fault analysis and insulation testing are working as claimed, and how to evidence the conclusion. Assurance work is under scrutiny because ageing plant is being asked to carry loads it was never specified for. Delegates leave able to work confidently with variable speed drives, motor control centres and switchgear maintenance in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Put variable speed drives on a footing they can defend to a reviewer, measured against recognised arc flash assessment practice
  • Improve motor control centres within their own organisation
  • Spot where switchgear maintenance is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Review substation operation and say plainly whether it is working
