This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through standby generation and switchgear maintenance on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with electrical safety procedure, protection relays and motor control centres in their own organisation.
