Waste Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through safety auditing and environmental impact assessment on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk assessment, safety management systems and permit to work systems in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Construction Regulations
- Put safety management systems on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Improve permit to work systems within their own organisation
- Explain safety culture to someone who does not do the work
