Arc Flash Safety Masterclass

5 days|Delivered on request

This advanced programme assumes delegates already work in the field. It goes past the basics into load flow analysis, cable fault location and the judgement calls that sit outside the Occupational Health and Safety Act. At this level the constraint is rarely knowledge. It is judgement under pressure, which matters because electrical incidents are among the few workplace risks that are immediately fatal. Delegates leave able to work confidently with transformer maintenance, earthing and bonding and variable speed drives in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Bring transformer maintenance into line with current good practice, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Put earthing and bonding on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Spot where variable speed drives is failing before it becomes a finding
  • Improve electrical fault analysis within their own organisation

What the course covers
