Environmental Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through emergency preparedness and working at height on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with personal protective equipment, safety culture and toolbox talks in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of personal protective equipment rather than escalating it, measured against the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Review safety culture and say plainly whether it is working
- Put toolbox talks on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Spot where legal appointments and duties is failing before it becomes a finding
