Import and Export Management: Tools and Techniques
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through inventory optimisation and contract administration on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: procurement decisions are now audited for process as closely as for price, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with ethical sourcing, bid adjudication and contract negotiation in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Spot where ethical sourcing is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against ISO 20400 on sustainable procurement
- Put bid adjudication on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain contract negotiation to someone who does not do the work
- Take ownership of supply risk assessment rather than escalating it
