Managing Working at Height

3 days|Delivered on request

This programme is for the person accountable for the work rather than the person doing it. It covers incident investigation and safety auditing from the position of someone who must review, approve and answer for the output. Managers carry this because incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and the accountability does not delegate cleanly. Delegates leave able to work confidently with contractor safety management, confined space entry and emergency preparedness in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Review contractor safety management and say plainly whether it is working, measured against ISO 45001
  • Make a decision about confined space entry without waiting for a specialist
  • Improve emergency preparedness within their own organisation
  • Take ownership of working at height rather than escalating it
