Working at Height for Non-Specialists

2 days|Delivered on request

Working at Height for Non-Specialists is built for delegates who need to be useful in this area quickly. It starts at first principles and works through working at height and safety auditing without assuming prior specialist training. The programme exists because environmental obligations are increasingly enforced against named individuals, and because capability in this area is usually built on the job with no structure behind it. Delegates leave able to work confidently with safety management systems, confined space entry and incident investigation in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Bring safety management systems into line with current good practice, measured against ISO 14001
  • Explain confined space entry to someone who does not do the work
  • Improve incident investigation within their own organisation
  • Put contractor safety management on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
