Practical Contract Management for Projects
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through risk registers and project initiation on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: most project failure is visible in the schedule long before it is admitted in the status report, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with resource planning, cost estimation and lessons learned in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of resource planning rather than escalating it, measured against PRINCE2
- Explain cost estimation to someone who does not do the work
- Review lessons learned and say plainly whether it is working
- Make a decision about benefits realisation without waiting for a specialist
