Practical Incident Investigation
3 days|Delivered on request
This is a hands-on programme. Delegates spend most of the time working through personal protective equipment and occupational hygiene on live scenarios rather than listening to theory about them. The practical emphasis is deliberate: incident investigation frequently stops at the immediate cause, and reading about the method has repeatedly proved insufficient. Delegates leave able to work confidently with working at height, safety culture and permit to work systems in their own organisation.
What delegates leave able to do
- Take ownership of working at height rather than escalating it, measured against ISO 14001
- Put safety culture on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
- Explain permit to work systems to someone who does not do the work
- Spot where toolbox talks is failing before it becomes a finding
