Strategic Incident Investigation

5 days|Delivered on request

Strategic Incident Investigation looks at this work from the level at which it is resourced and defended. The focus is on safety management systems, permit to work systems and how both connect to what the organisation is actually trying to achieve. This matters at the strategic level because safety systems are often documented to a standard that daily practice does not match. Delegates leave able to work confidently with risk assessment, personal protective equipment and working at height in their own organisation.

What delegates leave able to do

  • Spot where risk assessment is failing before it becomes a finding, measured against the Construction Regulations
  • Improve personal protective equipment within their own organisation
  • Put working at height on a footing they can defend to a reviewer
  • Take ownership of incident investigation rather than escalating it
